PS Plus November 2017 update: Sony confirm TWO PS4 game bonuses

For anyone waiting for the PS Plus November 2017 games announcement, the news shouldn’t be too far away.

While Sony usually wait until the last week of the month, there’s always the chance they’ll change things up.

The new free PlayStation games roster could be announced by October 24 or the week after, around October 30.

And what we do know, based on past behaviour, is that Sony will likely launch their new PS Plus games late in November.

Because they won’t be added until the first Tuesday of the month, it means the new PlayStation Plus lineup will be launched on November 7.

There’s been no leaks so far on what could be included and it would need to be something pretty special to beat October’s collection.

Blockbuster hit Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain was the star of the show last month, along with Amnesia: Collection, which contains both The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs.

Both are still available to download until the end of the month, but before then, there will be a few PS Plus bonuses to pick up.

The Playstation Store is currently holding a Halloween sale, offering up to 50 percent off titles.

And that’s boosted to 60 percent for Plus members, with 14 days of free live TV through PlayStation Vue with any Halloween purchase included.

The Sale of the Dead event ends on October 24 at 4pm BST.

A second PS Plus bonus is also being offered by Sony this week, following the closed beta launch of Hand of the Gods.

The new title is available to download on PS4 right now for those with a PlayStation Plus subscription.

The Hand of the Gods Closed Beta is available for free to PlayStation Plus members along with a bundle of exclusive items, including a PlayStation-only Galactic Invader Ah Puch leader skin.

Hand of the Gods is a new card game from developers Hi-Rez Studios, which includes a twist on the genre.

For those who aren’t a PlayStation Plus member but want to play, any of the bundles in the PlayStation Store for Hand of the Gods will include Closed Beta access.

“Unlike physical collectible-card games, Hand of the Gods isn’t limited to just playing cards on a table to simulate the action,” the official description explains.

“Here, you’ll directly summon the creatures and Gods of mythology and they’ll come to life in beautiful models rendered in Unreal Engine 4. We’ve taken the genre and designed our take as a video-game first — not as an adaptation.

“So, once the creatures are on the board, you’ll take direct control of them and attack your opponent’s objective, the Summoning Stone.”
