Thor Ragnarok: WATCH Loki TEAM UP with Chris Hemsworth’s hero in new clip

The Marvel movie has generated very strong reviews tonight, and in a new snippet – bursting with humour – it’s not hard to see why.

Chris Hemsworth’s Thor is seen with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in an elevator, the two of them making awkward chit-chat about one being good and one being evil.

Eventually Thor asks his brother if he wants to play “Get help”, which Loki rejects – but Thor playfully insists.

When the lift doors open, we see exactly what the name of the game means. Watch below.

Currently Thor: Ragnarok has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, an exceptional score for any film – let alone an entry so far along in a franchise.

The Guardian and The Independent both gave three stars, with the former saying: “It basically throws up its hands at its own ridiculousness and plays it all for laughs – and it gets them.”

The Daily Telegraph issued four stars, saying: “It’s funny, charming, dazzling, gorgeously designed, and full of actors you already like.”

Express.co.uk, meanwhile, gave a four-star review.

Our critic said: “As with Star Wars, although to much better success, Marvel have been hiring up-and-coming indie directors to breath new life into the blockbuster franchise – keeping the decade old series fresh and quirky, by pushing boundaries but holding to the main form.

“And boy does this Kiwi director do this, with 80% of Thor Ragnarok’s dialogue being improvised comedy, something that Hemsworth has taken to like the Hulk to smashing.

“The result is what is easily the funniest Marvel films to date, a huge achievement this far down the line and something that will have audiences crying tears of laughter.”

Thor Ragnarok is out on October 24 in the UK.
