Star Wars 8 The Last Jedi: Is THIS what Luke tells Rey inside the Force tree?

Since the first trailer for The Last Jedi there has been much mystery surrounding the Force tree on Ahch-To and the books contained within it.

It’s now generally considered among fans that the Force tree is in fact the very first Jedi temple.

But what role does it play in the new Star Wars movie?

One fan has come up with a theory of what Luke will tell Rey inside the Force tree, based on what we’ve already seen and heard in the first two trailers.

Posted on his YouTube channel, Mike Zeroh says: “I believe since we have this shot of Rey [see video below] approaching the Force tree, she will indeed discover it on her own.

“Luke Skywalker is not going to bring her there. [She’ll] discover the Jedi books and look at them…maybe finding out some shocking revelations.

“I think Luke Skywalker is going to step in and kind of…scare her a little bit. [He’ll] start lecturing her about what she is examining – the ancient Jedi books. And eventually [he’ll] get to that line, ‘It’s time for the Jedi to end.’

“This in itself shocks Rey and Luke Skywalker comes inside of the tree and starts opening one of the books – which could very well be .”

He added: “He’ll teach her about some things here and there and that will eventually lead into that other line…from the teaser trailer, ‘It’s so much bigger.’

“What is so bigger? I believe it could have to do with the Force as a whole.

“We do know that as we go into The Last Jedi we will learn some shocking revelations of the past, that have to do with the Force.”

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
