The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition has been hugely popular, with stock hard to come by and difficult to buy once it’s become available.
SNES Classic Mini stock has been selling like hot cakes whenever it’s become available, with fans facing a race against time to buy one.
On launch day the SNES Classic Mini was only available to buy from UK-based websites at Argos, John Lewis and Asda Direct.
Following on from that there was a dry spell of around a week and a half where they was no stock available from British websites.
That barren SNES Classic Mini stock run was broken by Game.co.uk and then Toys R Us last week.
And now SNES Classic Mini stock has become available at Amazon UK for the first time since launch – however chances are you already missed it.
The SNES Classic Mini became available to order at Amazon UK late last night, with stock going live just before 11.40pm BST.
SNES Classic Mini stock lasted for around 19 minutes before it sold out.
The Amazon UK stock allocation came after amazon.de, amazon.fr and amazon.es seemed to be the best stocked sites in Europe for the SNES Classic Mini.
Since launch that trio of European Amazon websites have regularly been taking orders for the SNES Classic Mini, according to Stock Informer.

Toys R Us also recently opened SNES Classic Mini orders again, with stock becoming available yesterday.
However, this allocation on their website went live around 3.10am – and was sold out by 3.20am.
While stock is selling out fast, it’s positive for fans in the UK that stock is becoming available on our shores after a barren run.
Attention for those looking to buy a SNES Classic Mini will now surely turn to which retailers will have stock next.
Argos have previously told Express.co.uk that they are expecting more SNES Classic Mini stock before Christmas.
An Argos spokesperson said: “Customers who are unable to secure a console at launch should keep checking our website as we are expecting more stock this side of Christmas.”
And there is one way to ensure that when stock becomes available at your local Argos store next you’ll know.
On the SNES Classic Mini product page on the Argos website a fan asked in the Q&A section when stock will become available at the retailer next.
An Argos representative said: “There is no definitive restock date for the Nintendo SNES Classic Mini console at present.
“I advise checking back with the website over the course of the next few weeks.
“It may also be worth trying the following link to set up text alerts when it becomes available in your local area.”
The retailer’s rep provided a link to the Argos ‘Back In Stock’ text alert website.
On this page Argos customers can set up a text alert so that know when a product will come back in stock at their local store.
