Kim Jong-un’s regime said Mr Trump is “trembling with fear” and is not capable of coping with nuclear threats by Pyongyang in a latest bizarre bout of sabre-rattling.
The secretive state said President Trump’s “bravado and cunningness” would only “harden” Kim’s need to destroy America.
The warning, pumped out by the communist state’s propaganda machine, is the latest escalation by North Korea in threats of nuclear war against the US.
It comes after the Defcon Warning System warned the threat of the outbreak of World War 3 is rising because Kim’s regime feels it is “being back into a corner”.
Pyongyang’s mouthpiece Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said: “The prevailing fear and uneasiness in the US society is ever increasing as the US has no means and capability to cope with the DPRK’s strike, which is becoming a hard reality.
“No wonder Americans obsessed with war-phobia are vying with each other in buying foods and goods for emergency use to save their lives.
“Trump causes troubles by spitting out reckless remarks without any calculation. It was very ridiculous for Trump to frighten the DPRK by his maniac deposition.”
The comments are an apparent dig to the US territory of Guam, which issued emergency guidelines advising residents over what to do if the depraved regime attacks the Pacific.
Meanwhile, two Air Force supersonic heavy bombers flew over the Korean peninsula in a show of force against Pyongyang last week.
But KCNA said this was a “last-ditch” and “desperate” effort by the US to stem the growing threat of nuclear threats from the North.
It read: “The US, much upset by the DPRK’s super offensive, is getting evermore frantic in the provocative moves.
“Now huge strategic assets including the nuclear-powered aircraft carriers Ronald Reagan and Theodore Roosevelt, the nuclear submarines Tucson and Michigan and B-1B strategic bombers are heading toward South Korea and its vicinity while Trump is unhesitatingly spitting out such frantic remarks as ‘total destruction’ and ‘calm before a storm’
“This is the last-ditch efforts of the US driven to the tight corner owing to the DPRK’s rapid development of nuclear force and its toughest counteraction.”
US President Trump is currently embroiled in an ongoing exchange of threats and insults with Pyongyang leader Kim Jong-un.
The American leader has repeatedly hinted at conflict, which could spark World War 3, and recent tweets suggest he is seriously considering using military action to end the North Korea crisis.
This month he tweeted: “Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid hasn’t worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of US negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!”
This was followed by: “Our country has been unsuccessfully dealing with North Korea for 25 years, giving billions of dollars & getting nothing. Policy didn’t work!”
The KCNA added: “Nothing will be more foolish than to try to use the old method, which worked on small and weak countries bereft of guts and pluck, for the DPRK.
“The DPRK has been fully ready for all the US. is resorting to including sanctions, pressure and military option as it has the tremendous nuclear force for self-defence and irresistible strength of self-reliance and self-development.”
The desperate efforts made by the S and its vassal forces to block the advance of the DPRK, vociferating about “threat to global peace and security” would only make the DPRK harden the faith that the road chosen by it is quite right and it should take to this road to the last.
