Xbox One X games update: Studio Wildcard has the BEST NEWS for ARK Survival Evolved fans

Ark Survival Evolved developer Studio Wildcard has great news for  X customers.

With the Xbox One X release date just a few weeks away, Studio Wildcard has detailed the changes coming to Ark Survival Evolved.

The most exciting new change is that ARK Survival Evolved will feature two graphics modes on Xbox One X, as well as HDR support.

Studio Wildcard explains: “The first is a Detailed Graphics version with 1440p resolution and Truesky (which is the equivalent to High quality on the PC) at 30fps.

“The second is a 1080p mode which equates to the current Xbox One graphics, with improved 60fps.”

And it’s not just the visuals that will benefit from the Xbox One X update.

The Xbox One X has 60-70% more RAM compared to the regular Xbox One.

Studio Wildcard claims this will help to eliminate out of memory issues, which should stop the game from crashing.

That’s on top of faster loading times and improved streaming, which is possible thanks to the speedier hard drive and ability to cache data into RAM.

The ability to rent servers will also be in place by the time the Xbox One X releases on November 7.

Microsoft’s impressive new console has a CPU that is 30% faster than that of the original Xbox One, while the GPU is 4.6 times more powerful than its predecessor.

Interestingly, the 8GB of memory – which is up from the 5GB found in the original Xbox One – allows the console to process art assets, making it easier to run 4K resolution visuals at higher speeds.
