Manchester City have set the pace early in the Premier League season after a dominant string of results – but they aren’t the most improved team in 2017/18.
They have added a couple of points to their total after this stage last season, but Newcastle are among the top risers based on their last Premier League campaign.
The Magpies were relegated in 2015/16 and started the season in abysmal form, though Rafa Benitez has overseen a terrific rise this year.
Burnley have also improved massively, while Everton are among the sides to have suffered a big drop.
