BREAKING: Eight-year-old girl dies after luxury CRUISE ship fall

Miami Fire Rescue Captain Ignatius Carroll says the distance the girl fell has not been determined but could have been 25-to-50 feet.

He said: “We understand that the child may have fallen 20 or so feet from a landing.”

Jennifer De La Cruz, vice president of corporate communications with Carnival, said: “Our most heartfelt care and concern is with the family at this very difficult time.”
