The building under threat is named the Mountainlair at West Virginia University in Monongalia County, West Virginia, US.
Local police tweeted: “A bomb threat has been received for the Mountainlair. The building is being evacuated as a precaution. Please avoid the area.”
Chief Bob Roberts said the threat was called in.
They evacuated the building and have dogs investigating.
The Mountainlair, commonly called “the Lair” by students, is the three-floor student union building at West Virginia University.
