Han Solo movie TRAILER: Is THIS when Star Wars spin-off will launch first teaser?

Rumours have begun circulating that the film – which still doesn’t have an official title – already has a teaser ready to go.

Cinelinx Editor-in-Chief Jordan Maison claimed on Twitter that the first wave of marketing material for the blockbuster is “done”, and could be launching soon.

“Heard that some #HanSolo marketing stuff is done & a trailer cut is floating around,” he said.

“No idea when we’ll see it, but…one exists. #StarWars.”

When pushed on the film’s title, he added: “I haven’t heard anything about a name other than it should be revealed ‘soon’.”

And on a date for the teaser: “I’ve heard nothing specific (frustratingly), but November is possible, with being attached to TLJ being the next main choice.”

Indeed, with the film pencilled in for release as soon as May 2018, there’s no time to waste – and it makes sense for a teaser to drop before or with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, at the very latest.

It’s even been speculated that it could be attached to Thor: Ragnarok in cinemas, but given that that film releases in the UK in under two weeks, the turnaround seems a little tight, particularly given the spotlight currently on the Episode 8 trailer.

The Han Solo film is thought to have recently held its wrap party, despite not being fully finished yet.

It’s the second anthology film of recent years, following the huge success of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story last year.

The Han Solo movie is out on May 25, 2018.
