It movie: Pennywise trauma for Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley – ‘TERRIFYING’ run-in

Speaking on Vogue’s new 73 Questions video, the British star, 25, was asked for a scary memory from her upbringing.

Presumably referencing the 1990s It TV series, based on Stephen King’s novel, she said Pennywise has a lot to answer for.

“I went to a sleepover and they played It and had a life-sized clown,” she said.

“It was terrifying.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ridley was also asked what it was like to work with Dame Judi Dench on Murder On The Orient Express, which is out next month.

“F**king amazing,” she beamed.

And asked what she herself is like in real life, she admitted: “Foul-mouthed.”

The star plays Rey in the Star Wars franchise, the latest chapter of which – The Last Jedi – is out in December.

A trailer released earlier this week threw up a whole new load of questions, including about her interactions with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

The clip also focussed heavily on her time with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK.
