Star Wars 8 TICKETS go on sale on MONDAY? Cinema chain leaks information

Fans are already planning parties expecting the trailer to arrive during the NFL Monday Night Football match between the Vikings and Bears on October 9.

In previous years, Star Wars tickets have gone on sale the morning of the final main trailer release.

Movie tickets went on sale on October 19, 2015, for The Force Awakens in the US and the UK and are likely to follow exactly the same pattern again.

A new leaked image even shows advance instructions from one major movie theatre chain, which also includes the actual date.

It looks like an employee of AMC theatres in the US has leaked a picture of the staff protocols and proceedures for selling the advance tickets for Episode 8.

The image clearly shows that tickets will go on sale on Monday, October 9. The screengrab was shared by Reddit user EndorFor Life and has quickly gone viral.

Another fan site, Furious Fanboys, is reporting that two major chains, AMC and Regal Cinemas, have begun prepping their systems so that tickets can be purchased for Star Wars: The Last Jedi starting at some point on Monday, October 9.

In the UK all the major cinema chains have holding pages in place in preparation for the tickets to be released, but no date has been confirmed.

Assuming everything follows the pattern from 2015, tickets will go on sale in the UK at 8am on the relevant morning.

Most of the movie theatres have systems set up so fans can pre-register their interest in advance.

Both Odeon and Cineworld have a link on the Last Jedi ticket booking page that allows fans to register so that they will be informed as soon as the tickets go on sale.

The trailer is expected to air during half-time of the match at around 10pm in the US, which will be 3am in the UK.
