Star Wars 8 TRAILER news: Last Jedi promo to be accompanied with THIS?

It has been widely rumoured that the clip will make its debut next Monday, October 9, in the US – or the early hours of Tuesday, October 10 in the UK.

Whilst this has not been confirmed by LucasFilm – at least not yet – it has also been claimed that something else will be happening around the movie at the same time.

According to whispers online, tickets for the film’s first showings will also go on sale next week.

A post on Reddit by KingNothing16 – which, of course, is unverified but gaining plenty of traction – reads: “New trailer will debut during Monday Night Football on Oct. 9th. and advanced ticket sales will launch immediately after.

“I know someone that works at a Regal and they just got an email from corporate explaining the steps they need to take in order to prepare the showtimes.”

Many are hoping that today’s episode of the Star Wars Show will provide further insight, but it’s becoming increasingly likely that we will finally get a proper trailer in less than a week’s time.

Mark Hamill had actually sparked the discussion when he posted a hastily-deleted tweet reading: “Watch Monday Night Football on Monday October 9th – for no reason in particular.”

He later claimed to have been making a joke, but numerous sources have since been reported to have confirmed the claims.

The Last Jedi’s first teaser was released way back in April, and speculation over when a full trailer would be released has been ongoing ever since.

With just two months to go until it lands in cinemas, surely the time is now?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK.
