Star Wars 8 TICKETS go on sale VERY soon: Waiting list and pre-order information

Fans are bracing themselves for the excitement of the main Last Jedi trailer.

However, it would be very easy in all the hysteria to forget that the pre-sales for tickets will almost certainly be released on the same day.

The final trailer for The Force Awakens was released on October 19, 2015 and pre-sale tickets were made available at the same time in the UK and the US.

Between cheeky (and quickly removed) teaser tweets from Mark Hamill and a flood of leaks and reports, most observers are confident we now know the date the trailer AND the tickets will be released.

Major UK cinema chains like Vue Cinemas already have a holding page in place, ready for the release to be announced.

In the US on one fan stite, Furious Fanboys editor Jeremy Conrad is reporting that two major chains, AMC and Regal Cinemas, have begun prepping their systems so that tickets can be purchased for Star Wars: The Last Jedi starting at some point on Monday, October 9.

This is the days most likely for the new Last Jedi trailer to drop – but at what time?

The Last Jedi trailer is expected to be shown during half-time during the NFL Monday Football match between the Vikings and Bears.

This will be around 10pm in the US, which is the early hours of Tuesday morning in the UK. However is is also likely that tickets may go on sale in advance of that during Monday, October 9.

This would follow the pattern from 2015 when tickets went on sale in the UK at 8am on the monday morning, with the trailer not shown until very late that evening.

Some UK cinema chains are also offering fans the chance to pre-register their interest and make sure they don’t miss out.

Both Odeon and Cineworld have a link on the Last Jedi ticket booking page that allows fans to register so that they will be informed as soon as the tickets go on sale.
