The images, posted by a Boston 25 reporter on social media, show a gun, a hammer and ammunition and are believed to be part of Paddock’s weapons stockpile that was found in the hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.
The hammer is believed to have been used to smash the windows, offering the killer a perch from where he carried out the devastating attack.
There is also a bipod, which the 64-year-old killer is believed to have used to stand the weapon on as he sprayed bullets into the Las Vegas crowd.
Police found 23 guns in the hotel room and another 19 weapons at Paddock’s home in Mesquite, Nevada.
Social media users are calling for weapons of this type to be banned after the devastating attack on Sunday night, which became the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
