Kate Middleton and Prince William may be expecting their third child, but that hasn’t stopped a Labour MP from criticising the Duchess of Cambridge.

The politician slammed the royal for her wardrobe choices this weekend.

The MP, who was also recorded criticising Prince William and Prince Harry, has called the royal family ‘ridiculous’ in the past.

Emma Dent Coad, Member of Parliament for Kensington in London, Kate Middleton’s own constituency, criticised Kate for wearing £170 dresses.

According to Sky News, the MP said: “That’s a food bill for a family of four. That’s absolutely outrageous.”

Kate Middleton, 35, has been suffering  from severe morning sickness – known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum – and as a result has had to cancel upcoming royal appointments.

In September, Prince William, 35, quizzed recovering addicts about the legalisation of drugs during a visit to a Shoreditch charity and attended a charity reception and awards ceremony for the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund, both without the Duchess.

The Prince will now be leaving Kate at home in London again as he travels to New Zealand on official royal duties.

Kensington Palace announced on Twitter: “The Duke of Cambridge, representing HM The Queen, will attend the New Zealand Commemoration for the Battle of Passchendaele on 12th October.”

Experts warn the effect of hyperemesis gravidarum increases with each child carried by the mother and William asked Mrs Orrell “did it get worse with each pregnancy,” and was told it did.

The 98-year-old said her doctor advised her to try “dry biscuits” and the Duke replied that ginger was supposed to help with the condition.

Prince William said: “Ginger biscuits – but there’s not much ginger can do to stop that – we’ve done all that.”
