Google Pixel 2 released TOMORROW but a major leak has just revealed everything

There’s just one day to go until .

The internet giant has a major event planned for tomorrow evening where the company is expected to show off all of its latest hardware including two new phones.

The Pixel 2 and larger Pixel XL 2 look set to offer a number of improvements over their predecessors with rumours suggesting brighter displays, faster processors and better cameras.

We’ll officially know more about these devices on Wednesday but, like most modern smartphone launches, someone has already revealed full details in a major leak.

Evan Blass who is renowned for getting hold of device specs and pictures early has just written a full report on what’s coming to the pixel.

And if that wasn’t bad enough for Google he’s also published a full set of images of the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.

According to Blass, the Pixel will include a 5-inch 1080p display with the larger Pixel XL 2 landing with 6-inch screen.

The Pixel 2 still appears to keep its thick bezels at the top and bottom of the device whilst the Pixel XL 2 has an almost edge-to-edge screen.

Other features revealed in the leak include a 12-megapixel camera, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and front-facing stereo speakers.

It was rumoured that these new phones would include an updated Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor, but Blass says that due to “an alleged delay”, both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be powered by the standars 835 chip.

Other features under the hood include 4GB of RAM and either 64GB of 128GB of memory.

It’s thought that Google will stagger the rollout of the new devices with the Pixel two available in mid OCtober and the Pixel 2 XL coming later in November.

Along with these new smartphones it’s also thought that Google will release a new Chrome laptop, mini version of its Home connected speaker and an update to its VR headset.

There’s no official word if any of these latest leaks are true but all will be revealed later tomorrow.
