Both LA Noire and Wolfenstein 2: The Colossus will be made available on the hybrid console, and more could be on the way.

One of the biggest games of modern times could be coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon, if the latest reports are to be believed.

GTA 5 on the Nintendo Switch may have been all but confirmed after a source who predicted LA Noire on the hybrid console made a shock announcement.

GTA 5 and GTA 5 Online have long been rumoured to be heading to the Switch, with it one of the most requested games on Nintendo’s smash hit console.

The upcoming release of LA Noire Remastered had raised hopes that GTA 5 could one day head to the Nintendo Switch.

And now fans hoping for a Switch version of GTA 5 have been given a big boost.

NeoGAF user Vern has spoken out on the possible release on GTA 5 on the Nintendo Switch.

Vern had correctly predicted the release of the LA Noire remaster on the Switch long before it had been announced.

And in a post on NeoGAF thread about LA Noire, Vern appeared to tease a possible GTA 5 release on the Switch.

One user in the thread wrote: “Why isn’t this port GTAV. No one wanted this game lol”.

Vern quoted this post and simply replied: “Patience”.

The news sent fans on the NeoGAF thread into overdrive about a possible version of GTA 5 on Switch.

Star Fox 2 is the sequel to the classic Super Nintendo game Starwing, and is loaded up on the SNES Classic Mini which was released earlier this month.

If you’re lucky enough to have bagged a SNES Classic Mini for the release date, you may be wondering why it’s not immediately available to play.

If you want to play Star Fox 2 you have to do one simple thing to unlock it.

Here’s how to unlock Star Fox 2 on the SNES Classic Mini:

All you need to do to be able to play Star Fox 2 is to load up the original Starwing, or Star Fox as it was known in US and Japanese markets.

You then have to playthrough and beat the first level of the game.

Once you do that, when you go back to the main menu of the SNES Classic Mini you’ll be able to access the sequel.

Star Fox 2 was developed for the Super Nintendo by Nintendo and Argonaut Games.

It was meant to have a release on the SNES in 1995 but was cancelled shortly before its intended launch.

Nintendo Switch fans hoping for a version of Final Fantasy 15 on the hit hybrid console have been given some bad news.

Switch owners had been left hoping that Final Fantasy 15 could be coming to Nintendo’s hugely popular console after comments made at Gamescom.

Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy 15, appeared to tease a possible Nintendo Switch version of FF15 during a Twitch livestream.

And last week Tabata-san spoke more about the possibility of Final Fantasy 15 on the Nintendo Switch, adding: “We’re actually doing very specific technical investigations into what’s possible at the moment.

“Where we are at the moment – we’ve completed those tests and have worked out where the ground lies. We’re currently in the middle of the discussion and debate about what we should be doing, and how to realise that on the Switch.”

The comments sounded like the Switch could be getting the first numbered entry from the Final Fantasy series on a Nintendo home console since FF6 on the SNES.

But since then Tabata-san has spoken more about the possibility of Final Fantasy 15 on the Switch with Famitsu, and it doesn’t make for good reading.

The interview was translated by Reddit user xXRaineXx and reported by Wccftech.

Tabata-san was asked whether Final Fantasy 15 was coming to the Switch or not.

He said: “Ahh, yeah, it’s gotten very confusing. We shouldn’t cause trouble with other companies, but I am going to say this bluntly.

“We have ‘no’ plans at this current time to release FFXV on the Switch.”

While those comments may come across as a hammerblow to those hoping for Final Fantasy 15 on the Switch, there a few caveats.

Tabata-san said they had no plans for the port “at this current time”, so those plans may change in future.

Secondly, the Final Fantasy 15 director went on to say glowing things about the Switch.

And Tabata-san said he “won’t deny the possibility” of Final Fantasy 15 coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point in the future.
