Star Wars Darth Vader cameo leaks: THREE new details – Those poor Wookiees on Kessel

Ever since Vader stole the show at the end of Rogue One, Star Wars fans have been desperate to know when he will be back on screen.

There are numerous rumours that Anakin will return as a Force Ghost in The Last Jedi.

There have also been conflicting reports about a major cameo from Darth Vader in the upcoming Han Solo Star Wars anthology movie.

New leaks reveals three incredible details about the fallen Skywalker, including a huge shock about his lightsaber.

WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS

A few weeks ago there was a major report from That Hashtag Show that Darth Vader was spotted on the set of the Han Solo film.

There are just two or three weeks of principal photography left on the shoot, as Ron Howard brings home the troubled project started by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

It has been widely reported that the veteran dirctor has been filming new scenes and tightening up the storyline and the Vader cameo looks set to be one of the centrepieces.

While most fans will be thrilled at Vader’s reappearance, Wookiee-lovers should look away now.

Star Wars Youtube channel Mike Zeroh has revealed four new details about what fans can expect to see.

1. “The Darth Vader scenes were all interior shots on a rocky planet assumed to be Kessel.”

In the official Star Wars Canon materials, Kessel is a skave planet when Wookiees mine for substances and spices which will be converted into dangerous drugs. Howard himself has teased the scenes on Kessel with a cheeky Twitter post, simply titled: “Spicey” which appears to show an entrance to the mines on Kessel.

2. “The Darth Vader cameo scene was a two-day shoot.”

3. “No lightsaber was seen on set and this movie is said to be the first Star Wars film without any lightsabers. Director Ron Howard will be doing something very different with Darth Vader.”

Vader famously deploys his Force Choke to horrifying effect through the movies but he has plenty of other nasty tricks. This is starting to sound very bad for the Wookiees, indeed…

Rogue One famously avoided classic Star Wars focus on The Force and lightsabers but last-minute reshoots added in that iconic end scene with Darth Vader on terrifying rampage.

Wookiees clearly aren’t likely to be the most docile or easily-cowed slaves, so the scene will be set for another savage and spine-tingling demonstration from the Dark Lord.

The Star Wars villain spent many years torturing prisoners and Jedi for information and was said to specialise in bringing his victims to breaking point.

Vader would rarely offer them freedom in return for co-operation. He was so ruthless he didn’t need to.

So terrible were his methods that his usual offer of death was sufficient to make prisoners spill their secrets in return for any end to their suffering.
