National Lottery DOWN – Website not working with players unable to get online

The National Lottery website is currently down.

Gamers starting noticing the site wasn’t working at around 6:15pm tonight and things still appear to be offline.

Independent website, Down Detector, is showing a huge number of reports from users saying that National Lottery is down.

According to the outage monitor, the problem seems to be affecting most of the UK.

When trying to access the site players are currently seeing the message, “This site can’t be reached, the connection was reset.”

To make matters worse there’s a big rollover tonight with jackpot thought to be worth over £15 million.

One disgruntled player wrote a message saying: “Can’t get to a shop to play and want to put my numbers on online. Sort it out.”

Another Lottery fans added: “@NationalLottery what’s happened to the app and website both seem to be down – I can’t buy my ticket?”

In a statement posted on Twitter, The National Lottery said: “We’re very sorry that many players are currently unable to access The National Lottery website or app. Our 46,000 retailers are unaffected.”

There’s currently no word on when the site will be fixed but players have until 7:30pm to buy their tickets from a physical retailer.
