BREAKING: Donald Trump’s White House launches investigation in private email accounts

A spokesperson declined to comment on the review, but told Politico that “the White House instructs staff to fully comply with the Presidential Records Act and briefs staff on the need to preserve records”.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders, asked if Trump was concerned about the reported use of private emails on Thursday, said: “The White House has been clear and instructs all staff to fully comply with the Presidential Records Act. 

“All staff has been briefed on the need to preserve those records, and will continue to do so.”
