Amazon announces new Echo with improved design, better sound and MUCH cheaper price

Amazon’s Echo was already one of the biggest and best devices of the past year winning a host of awards in both 2016 and 2017.

Now this smart speaker has just received a major update with Amazon launching an all-new Echo.

This very latest speaker features an improved design, better sound and even the ability to link three speakers together for a multi-room experience.

The new Echo was announced at a major launch event in Seattle with the US retail giant boasting that it’s sold tens of millions of the original Echo speakers.

Now this updated device looks to add to the success with a new look that includes the option to change the skin with six different designs available including a wood veneer effect.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

One of the issues with the original speaker was the sound quailty but Amazon says it’s addressed this with better highs and deeper bass.

The new Echo even includes Dolby sound technology.

Another nice feature of the Echo is the ability to link a number of these speakers together and use them as a multi-room system.

You can even ask Amazon’s voice-powered Alexa assistant to play music in different rooms or have them playing together.

The Echo was never hugely expensive but Amazon clearly wants more people to own one and has now slashed its price.

This means you can pick up the all-new Echo for £89.99 – the original device cost £149.

Amazon is even offering a multi-room three pack with £50 off the total price.
