Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have set the royal rumour mill flying with their first official appearance at the Invictus Games last night. Now another element of the occasion has sent fans of the couple into a spin.
The 36-year-old Suits actress appears to have been sending clear signals to the Prince that she is expecting a ring on her finger soon.
In a none to subtle move the actress wore a shirt named the ‘husband’ top to the event, devised by her royal beau.
It is not the first time Meghan has worn this shirt, which was designed by a friend of hers.
The actress posted an image to her Instagram account last year wearing the relaxed button-down.
The short was designed by Misha Nonoo and currently retails on the designer’s website for $185, or £137.10.

Twitter users seemed to think she may have been. ITV royal editor Chris Ship wrote: “Not my area of expertise but colleagues tell me Meghan Markle wearing a shirt style called ‘The Husband Shirt’. Read into that what u will.”
Another said: “I realize a “husband shirt,” is not really a sign but I want it to be so I’m calling it.” [sic]
Mischa Nonoo already has a royal connection, counting Princess Eugenie as a pal. She also attended the Royal Enclosure at Ascot with Meghan in June.
Otherwise, Meghan wore a perfectly paired down look to join Harry at the Invictus Games.
She paired the white shirt with tortoiseshell sunglasses, brown pumps and a handbag.
