Arsenal vs West Brom: Pressure still on despite Chelsea performance – Thierry Henry

That is the opinion of Sky Sports pundit and legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.

The Gunners collected their first point at Chelsea since 2011 eight days ago with a 0-0 draw.

The game was in stark contrast to their previous away game in the Premier League, where they lost 4-0 to Liverpool.

Ahead of tonight’s game against West Brom (8pm), Henry admits it was an improved showing from his former side.

However, he believes they now need to back it up with consistent performances.

“I think the pressure is still on them,” Henry said of Arsenal.

“They have to close that gap.

“If we talk about the Chelsea performance, obviously if you compare it with what happened at Liverpool it was always going to be better.

“We mentioned it after the game, was it because of a change in personnel? You expect that from (Alex) Iwobi, you expect that from (Danny) Welbeck.

“So that’s still unanswered for me and they still didn’t score away from home and win.

“But the story will tell you that West Brom do not perform well at the Emirates.

“The question that I’m looking for that we’ve been asking about this team are not going to be answered today on how they’re going to perform against West Brom.

“Yes it was better but the pressure is still on.”
