The vocal Priyanka Chopra is one of the women that could be asked to be one Meghan’s bridemaids.
The pair have been friends for years and Priyanka has spoken out about the relationship on television interviews. Also in the list are Made in Chelsea star Millie Macintosh and Kate Middleton’s daughter Princess Charlotte.
Harry was reported to have introduced sister-in-law Kate Middleton and the actress at Kensington Palace in January.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been conducting their relationship in private since they began dating just over a year ago.
However, one of Meghan’s friends has spoken out about the relationship, and the media’s coverage of the royal’s girlfriend. Speaking to People, the Baywatch star said: “Sometimes women become plus-ones, and sometimes guys become plus-ones.”
The sunning 35-year-old added: “I think in an overall scheme of things, it’s harder for girls to be able to make their own stand for what they are.”
Chopra also has criticisms to make about Meghan’s appearance in Vanity Fair magazine, claiming the interview was handled in a ’sexist’ manner.
“I mean, she’s on the cover of Vanity Fair. It would have been nice to write about her not just her boyfriend. I’m just saying,” Chopra told Entertainment Tonight.
“I mean, she’s an actor, she’s an activist, she’s a philanthropist. I mean, she does so much more.”
While Meghan Markle has undoubtedly risen to household name status since she was linked to Prince Harry, but she has carved out a very successful career in her own right.
The stunning LA-born actress did not enjoy a simple path to career to success unlike some of her Hollywood contemporaries.
