World War 3: Donald Trump WILL ‘totally destroy’ North Korea if forced, says insider

Sebastian Gorka, former adviser to Mr Trump, said the President had gone to the “heart” of globalisation and “read the riot act”.

In his first UN General Assembly speech on Tuesday, warned North Korea’s “depraved regime” would be “totally destroyed” if the USA was pushed too far, amid fears of .

Adding the would “realise its interests” under the Republican billionaire, Dr Gorka said Mr Trump had not made empty threats against the rogue nation.

Speaking to presenter Nick Ferrari on LBC, he said: “He went into the heart about this, into the hive of duplicitous, the globalisation that is the United Nations and he read them the riot act.”

But Mr Ferrari questioned whether Mr Trump would back his comments up.

He said: “You think he’s ready to back up those words with actions to ‘totally destroy’  if necessary?”

Dr Gorka replied the President’s use of 59 cruise missiles in Syria and 21,000lb bomb on ISIS showed he was willing to act on his words.

“I know this is a man who doesn’t speak empty rhetoric, he demonstrated that already.

“This is a very different President from President Barack Obama.”

North Korea was issued a major warning from Donald Trump, whose speech was met with applause in New York this afternoon.

He said if America “is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea”. 

The US president also warned America’s other rivals would “go to hell” for their actions before issuing a rallying cry for unity.
