Alexis Sanchez swoop
05:00: Manchester United will reportedly have to pay Alexis Sanchez a £25million signing-on fee if they can seal a deal.
Sanchez is out of contract next summer with Arsenal.
Manchester City tried to sign the Chilean in the last window, but the Gunners managed to keep him on deadline day.

The report suggests he could get £25m if he snubs City and heads to United instead.
Ander Herrera statement
04:30: Ander Herrera doesn’t feel anything has changed him for at Manchester United this season.
Whereas last term, Herrera was an ever-present feature of the first-team, this season he has been restricted to just one Premier League start.
Herrera, 28, is likely to be picked by Mourinho to face Burton later today (8pm) in the third round of the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford.
While accepting he’s not being used as much this term, Herrera doesn’t feel he has been discarded.
“I feel as important as I did last season,” Herrera said.
“I said that last season and it is the same now. I know how lucky I am to play for Manchester United.”
Ivan Perisic offer
04:00: Inter Milan never received an official offer from Manchester United for their star player Ivan Perisic, claims their sporting director.
Inter demanded just short of £50million for Perisic, while United were said to have bid around half that amount.
But Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio claims the Red Devils didn’t even bother to bid in the end.
Perisic eventually signed a new contract at the San Siro and Ausilio was asked about the player’s current situation now.
“He already had a contract, we never declined any offer from Manchester United but instead we worked to convince him to stay and that our project could be as winning as the one with Manchester,” Ausilio told Sport Mediaset.
“He never felt far removed from us, and the renewal is a consequence of this.”
