How Trump really could ‘totally destroy’ North Korea: Monster nuclear ammunition revealed

In a hard-edged speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, the US President mocked North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as a “rocket man” on a suicide mission for his repeated ballistic missile tests.

And he offered a grim portrait of a world in peril, as he suggested parts of the globe are “going to hell” – including .

It has now been revealed could take a step towards the “total annihilation” of the country simply by dropping a single bomb over the rogue nation’s capital.

About 1.2 million people would be killed in an instant and as many more injured if the US were to strike the capital.

The B-83 would create a fireball 2km wide – vaporising everything in its path, according to a projection from historian Alex Wellerstein’s Nukemap software.

The air blast radius would destroy most of the city and kill more than one million citizens.

Those that remained would suffer third-degree burns from the thermal radiation.

According to Macquarie University’s Bates Gill, there is no doubt about America’s military capacity to devastate North Korea.

He told 9News: “The United States has 11,000 nuclear weapons.

“The feasibility isn’t can (the US) do this, but what would it mean if we did?”

However he warned even flattening Pyongyang may not stop the chubby tyrant Kim Jong-Un.

And the strike would not guarantee the regime will not be able to hit back in retaliation.

Dr Gill added: “The feasibility isn’t the question of destruction of North Korea, but rather what the implications of that are for the region.

“Japan would be in the path of any nuclear fallout, so would South Korea, so would China.”

He also warned Mr Trump’s threatening tone will likely only serve to infuriate the chubby dictator, saying: “Those sorts of statements only further underscore the very reason why (North Korea) needs nuclear weapons.

“So by talking like (Trump’s) talking, he only reminds those who wish to have nuclear weapons why they need them, because it’s the only thing they have to protect themselves.”
