Call of Duty servers DOWN: Black Ops 3, Infinite Warfare, and Modern Warfare HIT

Activision have now confirmed that most of their Call of Duty servers are currently being affected by an outage tonight.

“We are currently experiencing connectivity issues for these titles: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.”

While most platforms are experiencing problems, Xbox One fans appear unaffected at this time on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

This leaves the following platforms hit by tonight’s issues: PS4, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Infinite Warfare, meanwhile, is currently experiencing issues on all platforms and it’s the same for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

The most recent updates from Activision read: “We’re currently experiencing connectivity issues. This incident is under investigation.

“This incident is still open, and we are working to restore online services as quickly as possible.”

The only Call of Duty servers which appear unaffected right now are for Black Ops 2, with no known problems currently listed by Activision.

It’s unclear what is causing tonight’s outages or how long they might last.

MFL…

It follows news that Call of Duty WW2 is getting an open beta later this month.

The Call of Duty WW2 multiplayer beta has been given a September 29 release date on PC, Activision has confirmed.

Available on Steam, the multiplayer beta ends a few days later on October 3.

The only bad news is that for the time being, the Call of Duty WW2 open beta isn’t coming to PS4 or Xbox One.

Fortunately, with the Call of Duty WW2 release date pencilled in for November 3, there’s plenty of time for this to change.

Announcing the Call of Duty WW2 open beta, a spokesperson said: “The PC Open Beta is just a small part of the full Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer experience coming to Steam in November.

“This test is a critical step on our road to delivering the best possible online experience on Steam at launch in November.”
