Sunday best! Theresa May swaps suit for sophistication at royal service in Westminster

Theresa May has donned her Sunday best to attend the 77th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Held at Westminster Abbey, the royal event was also attended by Prince Charles And The Duchess Of Cornwall.

The annual service remembers pilots and air crew of the Royal Air Force who lost their lives in the Battle of Britain in 1940.

Theresa May wore a grey tweed two piece outfit, with a button-up jacket and collar.

Her dress featured a statement bow around the waist, set in black lining.

The Prime Minister sported an elegant black hat and black leather gloves.

She kept to the theme with a black patent clutch bag tucked under her arm.

Mrs May chose simple black heels to complete the ensemble.

Also in attendance was Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, along with her husband Prince Charles.

Camilla chose a white statement hat featuring a dark satin rim.

She wore a navy coat over a matching navy dress. The coat was embroidered with a white floral pattern at the front.

Camilla sported a four-line pearl necklace with a dazzling jewel clasp.
