North Korea embassy staff caught SMUGGLING McDonald’s

The American fast food chain is strictly banned in the hermit kingdom but it appears embassy staff are taking advantage of being station in Lodnon.

Despite looking like he has enjoyed a takeaway or two himself, Kim Jong-un takes a hard line against anything remotely linked to the United States.

Which is why the eating habits of staff at the secretive embassy have raised an eyebrow after it was revealed they have developed a taste for the fast food.

It has been claimed staff at the embassy are a fan of the golden arches, despite it being forbidden.

Nearby workers revealed the lengths the North Koreans working inside the embassy in the London suburb of Ealing went to to disguise their lunch choices.

A builder told the Sun: ”I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“A guy came back in a car and got out clutching McDonald’s drinks.

The embassy, tucked away down a resident street in suburban west London, from the outside looks like any other on the street.

But the gated entrance gives a hint of its more sinister purpose, with it being one of a handful of overseas embassies Pyongyang has.

The despotic regime forked out £1.3 million – while many of its residents starve – for the plush seven-bedroomed home in Ealing in 2003.

It is de facto North Korean soil, with an impressive security arsenal guarding it.

CCTV cameras, hedges and security fencing all front the property, and any unannounced visitors are turned away.
