Any die-hard sports fan will know the feeling when the ball being used in the game you’re watching is launched into the crowd and heading your way.
One woman at a baseball match couldn’t believe her look when it happened to her.
The blonde haired woman was standing up in the crowd observing the game when she suddenly realised the ball was flying in her direction.
Overcome with excitement she gasped and held out her fingers and arms ready to catch it.
She had the perfect angle on the ball, but just inches away from her grasp the unexpected happened.
Just as she began to lean forward to catch it a young boy appeared just in front of her and snatched it away.
The woman was overcome with disbelief that the ball, so close to her, was ripped away from her clutch.
Her partner, sitting down on her right, burst into a daughter and she turned to him with a disapproving look.
“Whoever gets the ball gets the ball, fair play.”
“At least she didn’t take the ball out of the kids hands like I’ve seen twice before, much respect to her.”
She looks back to try and work out what just happened before retreating back down to sit in her seat.
