Tomorrow he will face South Africa’s Kevin Anderson, and should he prevail, it will be his 16th Grand Slam title.
Del Potro memorably beat Nadal in the semi-finals in 2009.
Since then, Nadal has won 15 matches in a row in the last four of Major tournaments.
