La Liga News: Real Madrid want Neymar to replace Ronaldo, Barcelona star angers club chief

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar wants to join Real Madrid after his time at the Parc des Princes.

The Brazil international only signed from Unai Emery’s side from Barcelona last month.

Yet Diario Gol claim he already harbours hopes of signing for Los Blancos.

He supposedly has a secret clause in his contract that will force PSG to accept any bid from Zinedine Zidane’s side.

And Real are also keen to sign the player and view him as the perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is approaching the final stages of his career.

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha has angered Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, reports say.

Don Balon claim the Brazilian bombarded Perez with phone calls during the transfer window.

He was reportedly encouraging Madrid to bid for him – despite the fact he plays for their fiercest rivals.

And Perez supposedly had to tell him there was no place for him in Zidane’s side.

Rafinha could still leave Barcelona in January with Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal in the mix to sign him.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has revealed he instructed the board not to sell anyone this summer.

Antoine Griezmann and Saul Niguez were linked with moves to Manchester United but both deals failed to materialise.

And Simeone says – in the wake of the club’s transfer ban – he made sure the players all stuck together.

“From the time I was told that the club could not sign players, the only thing I asked the club was for no one to leave,” Simeone told Atletico’s official website.

“They made sure of that and that is why we are still together.”
