IT movie: What does that terrifying strange ending REALLY mean? EXPLAINED

It goes with out saying that this will make more sense for anyone who has already seen the film.

IT hit cinemas yesterday and has already broken box office records in the US.

As more and more people see teh horror blockbuster they could be left rather confused by the ending. 

Stephen King fans who have already read the 1986 book will know what’s going on but, for those who haven’t, this is what that ending means.

Incredibly, the end of the IT movie seems to show the Losers Club kill Pennywise.

Just as audiences finally start to relax, though, the end screen reads ‘Chapter One.’ Well, it all seemed a little too easy. The story is definitely not over.

Does Pennywise live and will the Losers Club return? Will there be another film?

Readers of the novel will know that the Losers Club figured out that the attacks happen every 27 years. The kids make a pledge that if they hear about more killings after that time has passed again, they will all return home from wherever they are and finish the job.

Given the huge advance interest and spectacular early box office, he also coomented that he was ure it woudl have an even bigger budget.
