Xbox One news: Conan Exiles update, Injustice 2 DLC leak, Rockstar’s Bully 2 reveal?

Conan Exiles on Xbox One has only just been released and is likely to stay in early access for sometime.

Today, Funcom announced that they’re hoping to have the full game launched in Q1 2018, although this is likely subject to change.

This could be just a target for the PC, with the Xbox One to follow a few months later.

It appears that the new crafting-survival title has gotten off to a good start on consoles, with the development team expanding on their recent trials program.

Currently, anyone can download and play Conan Exiles for a short time on Xbox One’s Preview Program.

“Due to popular demand (and to give people a better feel for the game) we’re extending the free trial on Xbox for new downloads,” Funcom announced earlier this week.

It was also recently revealed that Funcom will be launching a new Conan game following the launch of Exiles.

A new Conan the Barbarian IP was recently listed in the company’s latest quarterly report, and is planned to enter pre-production in early 2018.

Funcom have released a statement regarding the timing of the new launch and how it will affect Conan Exiles.

“To clarify: We’re planning another Conan game, but full production won’t start until after Conan Exiles,” a Funcom statement reads.

“Our plans are to continue supporting Conan Exiles after launch, but first we need to concentrate on having the best launch possible.

“Exiles is set for full launch in Q1, 2018. We will make sure it is good and ready before we do anything else.”

A new Injustice 2 DLC leak has surfaced ahead of the launch of the latest characters on PS4 and Xbox One.

While fans were pretty sure that Black Manta was about to enter the fray, they probably couldn’t guess that Hellboy was also going to be included.

Multiple new trailers were released in August, showing off Raiden and Black Manta, before the big reveal of Hellboy emerging from the shadows.

Neither Raiden or Hellboy are part of the DC universe but will netherless help add more variety to the already-packed Injustice 2 characters list.

NetherRealm have confirmed that Black Manta will be the first DLC character launched, with the release date set for September.

According to Kotaku, “The first fighter from the pack will be available when Fighter Pack 2 goes on sale September 12.

“If Fighter Pack 1 was any indication, expect the other two fighters to trickle out over the months to follow.”

And new leaks have arrived online, showing some new images of what Raiden and Hellboy will look like in-game.

Both were posted on Reddit, revealing new Injustice 2 portrait designs for the two characters, which can be found here and here.

There have been reports over what could follow GTA 5 Online and Red Dead Redemption 2 as Rockstar’s next big gaming project.

Hopes were sparked that GTA 6 could be in the works following an admission on a voiceover artist’s CV, however this turned out to be a hoax.

There has even been alleged concept art for one of the studio’s oldest running projects, Agent, appearing online.

But if the most recent rumours are to be believed, Rockstar will not be focusing on any of these franchise.

Instead, the distinguished developer will be turning their attentions to Bully 2.

Game Zone reports that they have spoken to a source who confirms that a sequel in the franchise has been in the works for sometime.

They also claim that it will be big the gaming project announced by Rockstar following the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018.

According to the source in question, recent concept art leaks connected with Bully 2 are legitimate.

However, there was no further evidence or suggestions for when the project could be announced, or if it would be coming to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

This isn’t the first talk of a Bully sequel being in the works.

A leaker connected with GTA Online has revealed that Bully is in development and will be the next big release, following the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2.
