Call of Duty WW2 beta UPDATE – PS4 and Xbox One fans find secret code in beta

Call of Duty WW2 beta is live with fans on the PS4 and Xbox One testing the online multiplayer, and they’ve stumbled upon a interesting and hidden code.

In the beta maps, hidden away there are secret Spotify bar codes which provide teasers on what to expect from the Call of Duty WW2 campaign.

Three of the four codes were discovered during the first weekend of the Call of Duty WW2 beta, which was only for PS4 players.

But now during the second beta period, which is also open to Xbox One fans, a fourth code has been discovered on the new Aachen map.

Each of these Spotify audio files are little teases for the Call of Duty WW2 campaign mode, according to CharlieIntel.

At the end of the clips there is morse code that lasts for around ten second.

Each clip provides a different later, and the letters so far have ended up being UWBGH.

When this is entered on the Classified Call of Duty site, a new file is shown alongside the older teasers.

The unlocked Prosper file makes references to a ‘Panthera Pardus’, and the image below that appears to be from the Call of Duty WW2 campaign.

There is a distinct panther logo on top of it.

Another file shows a top-secret file for ‘Operation Prosper’ and shows a map of parts of Europe.

The map shows what looks like a trail for the ‘Panthera Pardus’ plotted for some reason.

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have not really shown off much about the Call of Duty WW2 campaign since its initial reveal.

But there is still time for more information or another trailer on the campaign to drop ahead of the Call of Duty WW2 release date.

The highly anticipated shooter launches worldwide on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 3.

PS4 and Xbox One fans playing the Call of Duty WW2 beta have until 6pm BST / 10am PDT on September 4 to test it the online multiplayer.

A PC beta for Call of Duty WW2 is coming, but no set release date has been given.

The Call of Duty WW2 beta was meant to begin at 10am PDT / 6pm BST on September 1.

But it ended up going live almost a DAY early. The same thing happened with the PS4 early access to the Call of Duty WW2 Private Beta.
