World War 3: North Korea wants to DEFUSE US tension by launching missiles, claims expert

Professor Chris Ogden said North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was trying to send a “diplomatic” message to the USA with its latest missile launch test.

On August 29, Japan was sent into a panic after security forces spotted a missile over the city of Hokkaido.

Professor Ogden said: “I think they’re trying to force some kind of solution, hopefully diplomatic.

“They’re also just responding to the belligerence of Donald Trump who said, ‘There needs to be a solution, I’m the man who can do it,’ but really he’s not in a position to do anything.”

Professor Ogden told talkRadio that senior officials in Pyongyang still felt threatened by the United States and were pushing Kim Jong-un to “showboat”.

He added: “They think they’re on the verge of being invaded by the American. They want to try and push back against that.

“They also want to be recognised internationally as a legitimate political entity and be allowed to keep their nuclear weapons.”

Neighboring South Korea has been engaging in training exercises with the United States to prepare for war against the hermit nation.

Sources in Seoul revealed that the Government is currently training special forces units to sneak into Pyongyang to assassinate Kim Jong-un and his posse.

Following the missile launch against the Japanese islands, President Trump said that now “all options are on the table” to put an end to the North Korean threat.

He wrote on Twitter: “The U.S. has been talking to North Korea, and paying extortion money, for 25 years. Talking is not the answer.”
