Apple has just announced the launch date for its next iPhone.
Invites were sent out last night with words ‘Let’s meet at our place’ making this the first event to be held at Apple’s new HQ in Cupertino.
Although it’s not confirmed, the launch is likely to see Apple reveal its all-new iPhone 8.
This latest flagship is rumoured to include an edge-to-edge display, improved camera, faster processor and wireless charging.
So with all eyes on Apple, and its next big device, Samsung has decided to launch another cheeky deal in a bid to lure customers to its latest Galaxy S8 smartphone.
Last week the Korean firm launched a three-day deal offering the chance to own an S8 for just £19.99 per month.
Now the deal is back with anyone willing to ditch their iPhone getting the chance to take delivery of the S8 for the reduced price.
Those deciding to make the switch haven’t got long as the offer is only available until September 3 and there are some terms and conditions.
Firstly, you’ll have hand over your iPhone to Samsung and it must be in good working order and can’t be older than the iPhone 4.
The deal is based on 24 monthly payments with the total price paid for the S8, including a one-off deposit of £53, coming in at £533 – that’s £156 less than the standard S8 price.
The deal includes 0% finance but its worth noting that you will still need to find a SIM-only deal to use it.
With the new iPhone launch just around the corner, expect plenty of more deals to begin flooding the market soon.
