Call of Duty WW2 beta Xbox One and PS4 codes LIVE

UPDATE ONE: The Call of Duty WW2 beta is now live for many who have pre-order and already downloaded the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

It appears many who pre-ordered from third-party retailers are now just waiting on codes to arrive so that they can be redeemed.

When you pre-order from a participating retailer, you will receive a 13-character Private Beta access code redeemable at callofduty.com/beta

It should also be noted that Private Beta access codes are only required for pre-orders through a participating retailer.

If you pre-ordered through the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live, you are automatically validated to participate in the Call of Duty: WWII Private Beta.

ORIGINAL: The publishing giant has just announced that the Call of Duty WW2 beta Xbox One codes are now going live.

“The WWII Beta is available now to download on PS4, and codes for Xbox One pre-orders are being deployed now,” the Activision explains.

It means fans will want to start checking their inboxes frequently to see if they have one yet.

While the download is available to some PS4 and Xbox One users already, those who are having to wait should soon see an update.

The Call of Duty WW2 beta pre-load was scheduled to begin earlier this week for some Xbox One customers.

If you have pre-ordered from the Xbox Live Store, you will be able to begin pre-downloading from August 29 at around 6pm, BST.

The COD beta test will require around 17GB of space, which is relatively low for modern betas.

As confirmed by Activision earlier this month, Weekend 2 will be accessible to Xbox One and PS4 players, starting 10am Pacific / 5pm GMT on September 1, and ending at 10am Pacific / 5pm GMT on September 4.

It has also been announced that if you have already played in Weekend 1 of the Call of Duty WW2 beta, your statistics and level will carry over into Weekend 2.

Weekend 2 is set to include some different content for fans, with Sledgehammer Games introducing new map, Aachen, to the mix.

Aachen: “Set in a war-torn town in Western Germany, this destroyed environment is made up of heavily-damaged streets and bombed-out apartment buildings.

“Push down the center street or duck into the tight quarters of buildings, while dodging cross-fire from the opposing lanes.

“Be on the lookout for Mountain Division soldiers – the long sight lines of the Main Street can be dangerous without cover fire.”
