Star Wars 8 leaks ‘Snoke doesn’t NEED a lightsaber, he is WAY more powerful in the Force’

Snoke remains one of the biggest mysteries of the final Star Wars trilogy.

The shadowy leader of the First Order hasn’t even appeared on screen yet in the flesh and rumours and theories explode about whether he is a human, alien or some kind of ancient being.

Star Wars moderator Pablo Hidalgo, who works for Disney, confimed that Snoke is not Sith. Furthermore, he was not seen using Force powers at all in The Force Awakens. Is he just Force sensitive or is he something else entirely?

A new leak reveals that Snoke transcends the usual concept of Jedi or Sith and is so powerful he can do unspeakable things purely with his own power, with no need at all for a lightsaber.

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

Star Wars Youtube channel Star Wars Theory never references leaks or anonymous tips but one source has proved so reliable and consistently correct that the site has, for the first time, shared one of the leaks.

He says the villain does not have a lightsaber because: “Snoke’s powers are above it. Just like Palpatine who didn’t care to use a lightsaber for more than to mock the Jedi or have it by his side as a tool.

“Snoke will have a massive black cyber crystal ring. This will be substituted for his lightsaber in the film and through it he will be granted a massive amount of power which he can funnel the Force through.”

“He will be able to do things we’ve never seen before or thought possible. In comparison to the Emperor (Palpatine) Snoke will make him look like a youngling. And that is being generous.

“Snoke does not have a lightsaber. He fights with the Force with his mind and being. Luke goes down the same path, as well.

“According to this source, Snoke will crush worlds with his mind.”

Star Wars Theory reminds fans how Darth Vader’s powerful apprentice Starkiller (Galen Marek) was shown bringing down an entire Star Destroyer with raw Force power in the Force Unleashed game.

Star Wars characters have been shown moving objects with their minds in the movies. The most memorable remains Yoda’s attempts to taech Luke how to raise his X-wing from the swamp on Dagobah. The most spectacular scene was where mind powers were seen being used offensively was the battle between Yoda and Palpatine in the Senate when the Sith sent huge parts of the building flying across the hall.

Destroying an entire planet, though, is a whole new level.

Tantalising and terrifying as this may be, it begs the question – why would Snoke bother building the Starkiller Base if he could just blow up planets with his brain?

Fans have suggested that channeling such an extraordinary amount of power would have some kind of terrible side effects on his health.
