Loris Karius is expected to make his first start of the season this afternoon against the Gunners with Mignolet demoted.
Karius seemed to confirm the news he would be playing when he tweeted last night that he wouldn’t be able to watch the Conor McGregor v Floyd Mayweather fight.
He wrote: “Big game tomorrow so no fight for me tonight #MayweatherMcGregor.”
Karius was signed last summer to put pressure on Mignolet but Klopp’s decision to swap his goalkeepers for such a crucial game is a surprise.
And according to reports in Belgium, Mignolet is far from happy.

Belgian outlet Sporza say Mignolet discovered at the end of training on Saturday that he wasn’t in the team and sought an explanation.
It is claimed Klopp told Mignolet he needed a rest but the goalkeeper did not agree especially when he’s due to have a break during the international games.
Mignolet’s entourage are said to be unconvinced by Klopp’s reasoning and wants talks with the manager and board.
