York races: Ladies capture policeman’s eye in skimpy dresses Ebor Festival 2017

York races saw women wearing all their finery to place bets and enjoy the day.

Glamorous outfits were de rigueur, and women wore large hats, fascinators and high heels.

One blonde woman in particular, who wore a skimpy backless dress, caught the eye of a police officer keeping racegoers safe.

Her nude dress was covered in white and gold floral lace and she wore nude platform heels.

Another blonde woman wore a curve-hugging dress in coral with a rose print.

The dress flashed a hint of cleavage, as well as the woman’s long legs – which were accentuated by snake-skin high heels.

Her companion wore a more modest olive green dress, with a high thigh split and silver shoes.

Another pair of young ladies also flashed the flesh. One wore a skimpy green mini-dress with thin straps, which displayed her chest.

She teamed the dress with a suede pair of heels with lace ties, while her friend wore a smock dress with pink, frilly heels.

A woman in a pink, blue and green dress and huge key necklace threatened to steal the show with an enormous fascinator.

Some women opted for more ladylike longer hems. One pair of four wore pretty ball gown style dresses with matching fascinators.

Ladies at Ebor Festival 2017 were forced to dodge the rain to enjoy the bets.

It appeared to rain, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of those at the races.

One woman refused to compromise her outfit, using the head hole of her plastic poncho for her bright, rose-covered hat.

Pastel hues and florals were the looks of the day, as women wore spring inspired colours and ensembles.

One woman wore a stunning 50’s style prom dress with a Bardot-style, shoulder-exposing neckline and a full, pretty skirt.
