Right Said Fred SPEAK OUT on Taylor Swift I’m Too Sexy sample in Look What You Made Me Do

The bizarre interpolation comes in Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do – which came out last night.

Fred Fairbrass, Richard Fairbrass and Rob Manzoli are credited alongside Swift and Jack Antonoff on the track, destined to become a global No1.

Taking to Twitter, the group praised the unlikely move.

“Thank you @taylorswift13 [love heart],” they wrote. “What a marvellous reinvention!”

Swift’s sixth album Reputation is out in November, and this track is its first single.

Rumours are abound that she could perform it at the MTV VMAs on Sunday; which would be particularly notable given that her rival Katy Perry is hosting.

Perry has been touted as a potential target of Look What You Made Me Do’s lyrics, but many have argued that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are more likely targets.

Swift fell out with the married couple last year over West’s song ‘Famous’.

Right Said Fred, meanwhile, released their latest opus Exactly in February of this year.

I’m Too Sexy was released in July 1991 and hit No2 in the UK, and No1 in the US.

It briefly resurfaced in 2007, when it peaked at No56 in the UK.
