Pokemon Go NEWS: Secret item uncovered in HUGE Gen 3 leak

Pokemon Go fans have uncovered a special item that could have a big impact on the future of the game.

In addition to discovering Gen 3 Pokemon in the game files, fans have found evidence to suggest that Niantic is planning to introduce a Super Incubator.

This would presumably let players hatch eggs at a much accelerated rate, although nothing has been confirmed.

The discovery was made alongside a host of files for Gen 3 Pokemon, the best of which you can see in the gallery below.

Unfortunately, however, the Gen 3 data doesn’t include move sets or sound files, which suggests a full release is some way off.

It’s possible Gen 3 will release after Mewtwo Raids make an appearance in September.

Niantic hasn’t announced an official release date for the new raids, only that Mewtwo will appear in the coming weeks.

But it seems increasingly likely that Mewtwo will join Pokemon Go when the current Legendary event ends at the end of August.

It’s possible the Mewtwo release date will follow on September 1.

Fans should know for sure this week, because Exclusive Raids are an invitation-only affair, which means Niantic would likely send out invites soon.

Niantic explains more: “To receive an invitation to participate in an Exclusive Raid Battle, Trainers must have successfully completed a raid recently, by defeating the Raid Boss, at the Gym where the Exclusive Raid Battle will be taking place.

“The invitations will include advance warning of when the Exclusive Raid will take place, giving them ample time to coordinate with other Trainers before taking on the powerful Raid Stay tuned for more information.

Dataminers have also discovered new files for Shiny Pokemon, although it’s unclear which Pocket Monster will be next to receive the sparkly treatment.
